Professionals

The Prize Purse of $ 50 000 will be paid through to 6th Place of the Professional Athletes in 2013.

The distribution will be done as follows:

The 8% Rule will no longer apply.

Prize Money will be paid once the Drug Testing Results have been received by WTC. Please note that the prize money allocation is subject to WTC policies and changes and will be paid out based on the prize money allocation deemed correct by the WTC at the time of payment.

Age Groupers

Special Ironman 70.3 South Africa trophies will be awarded to the first three athletes in each age group category for both male and female athletes.

Athletes must be present at the Awards Ceremony on 20 January 2013 to collect their trophy!

Lucky Draw at Awards

Athletes must be present at the Awards Evening and must be wearing their athlete bands to claim any lucky draw prizes.

Transport to the Awards

World Endurance SA will be providing 2 x buses to transport athletes to the Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening. The buses will leave from Orient Beach Parking Lot (Transition Area) and will return to the same place after the event.

Times will be as follows:

Departing:
- 18:30 and 18:45

Returning:
- 22:30
- 23:00
- 23:30

Finishers
All Finishers will receive a Finisher Medal at the Finishline. Finisher t-shirts can be collected from the Athlete Finishers Area once you complete the race.

Certificates
Certificates will be available online for you to print and download yourself 14 days after the event.
